Maintaining Discipline, Integrity, and Excellence

At Blue Star Academy, we uphold a culture of discipline, respect, and responsibility to ensure a safe and productive learning environment for all students. Every student is expected to follow the school’s rules and regulations to maintain academic excellence and personal integrity.

General Conduct

✅ Students must be punctual and regular in attendance. Late arrivals and unexcused absences will be noted.
✅ Respect for teachers, staff, and fellow students is expected at all times. Misconduct, rudeness, or bullying will not be tolerated.
✅ The school campus should be kept clean and litter-free. Proper use of school property is required. Any damage must be reported and compensated for.
✅ Electronic gadgets (mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, etc.) are not allowed unless permitted by school authorities for academic purposes.
✅ Students must adhere to the school uniform and maintain a neat and tidy appearance.

Attendance & Punctuality

✔ A minimum of 75% attendance is required to be eligible for examinations.
✔ Absence from school must be accompanied by a written leave application from parents/guardians.
✔ Repeated absence or truancy without a valid reason may lead to disciplinary action.

Academic Discipline

✔ Students must complete assignments, homework, and projects on time.
✔ Cheating, plagiarism, or any form of dishonesty in exams or coursework is strictly prohibited.
✔ Silence must be maintained in classrooms, libraries, and examination halls.
✔ Any form of disruptive behavior in class will be addressed with strict disciplinary action.

Use of School Property

✔ Students must take care of school property, including furniture, books, and equipment.
✔ Writing on walls, desks, or damaging school assets will lead to disciplinary action and penalties.
✔ Library books must be returned on time, and students must follow the library rules.

Behavior & Discipline

✔ Fighting, bullying, or using abusive language is strictly prohibited and will result in serious consequences.
✔ Loitering in school corridors, canteen areas, or outside school premises during class hours is not allowed.
✔ Students must participate actively in school activities and uphold the school’s values and discipline.

Parental Involvement

✔ Parents/guardians must attend parent-teacher meetings regularly to discuss their child’s progress.
✔ They are encouraged to support school policies and reinforce good behavior at home.
✔ Any concerns should be communicated respectfully through the appropriate school channels.

Strict Disciplinary Actions for Violations

🔴 Verbal or written warnings for minor offenses.
🔴 Suspension for repeated or serious misconduct.
🔴 Expulsion in extreme cases involving severe rule violations.
